Every spring, Argentina becomes the world’s capital of polo. The fields turn emerald green, the best horses take the stage, and the top players from around the globe come together for the most anticipated series of tournaments: the Argentine Triple Crown.
Organized by the Argentine Polo Association (AAP), the Triple Crown brings together three legendary events that every polo fan dreams of attending — the Tortugas Country Club Open, the Hurlingham Club Open, and the Argentine Open Championship, held at the iconic Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo.

The Three Jewels of the Triple Crown
Hurlingham Club Open Championship
September 23 – October 4, 2025
Known as the oldest polo tournament in the world, the Hurlingham Open represents the historical heart of Argentine polo. Its fields have seen generations of champions, and in 2025, the tradition continues with teams like La Natividad La Dolfina, UAE Polo, and Ellerstina–Indios Chapaleufú leading the competition.
Last year’s champions, La Natividad La Dolfina, are expected to defend their title with the unbeatable combination of Adolfo Cambiaso, Poroto Cambiaso, and the Castagnola brothers — the dream team of modern polo.
Tortugas Country Club Open Championship
October 7 – October 25, 2025
The Tortugas Open, played on the perfectly maintained fields of Tortugas Country Club, marks the start of the high-goal season. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, and fans can attend the early matches with free entrance.
Expect breathtaking chukkas, beautiful horses, and the unmistakable Argentine polo spirit that turns every match into a social event.
Argentine Open Polo Championship – Palermo
November 1 – December 6, 2025
The grand finale of the season takes place at the Cathedral of Polo in Palermo — a place every polo player dreams of stepping onto. This is where champions are crowned and history is written.
The Argentine Open is not just a tournament; it’s a cultural experience. Families, fans, and tourists fill the grandstands to witness the best polo in the world under the spring sun of Buenos Aires.
